Responsibilities
- Architect quantum computing systems with fault-tolerant designs supporting 10,000+ qubit operations
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery and materials science
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators into high-performance computing environments
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography implementations
- Drive research in topological qubit stabilization and error correction techniques
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum software development and hardware-software co-design
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- 5+ years designing quantum systems with demonstrated fault-tolerance implementations
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware integration and calibration
- Strong background in superconducting qubit manipulation and control systems
