Job Description
Join Nexus Quantum Labs at the forefront of computational revolution. We're pioneering quantum-resistant cryptography and error-corrected algorithms that will redefine cybersecurity and materials science by 2026. As a Quantum Computing Architect, you'll design next-gen quantum systems that solve previously impossible problems in drug discovery and climate modeling.
Our cross-disciplinary team collaborates with MIT and NASA to develop fault-tolerant quantum processors. You'll lead prototyping of 1000-qubit systems while mentoring PhD researchers in quantum machine learning. This role offers equity in a Series B unicorn with 200% YoY growth.
Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing infrastructure for enterprise clients in finance and healthcare
- Design quantum error correction protocols achieving 99.9% fidelity rates
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead technical workshops with Fortune 500 CTOs on quantum adoption roadmaps
- Publish peer-reviewed research in Nature Physics or equivalent journals
- Mentor quantum software engineers in Q# and Qiskit frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing conferences (QIP, ACM)
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compiler design
- Proficiency in quantum simulation tools (Qiskit, Cirq) and low-level assembly
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D grants from DARPA or NSF
- Strong background in topological quantum computing or superconducting qubits
- Proven track record of shipping quantum hardware prototypes
