Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop proprietary error-correction algorithms for fault-tolerant operations
- Optimize cryogenic control systems for millikelvin environments
- Create quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography and materials science
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit fabrication and integration
- Document quantum system specifications and performance metrics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in Nature/Science or IEEE journals on quantum computing
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and microwave control systems
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
