Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit integration and coherence
- Develop quantum algorithms for cryptography, simulation, and machine learning
- Create technical documentation and patents for novel quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior scientists in quantum computing principles
- Stay ahead of emerging quantum technologies and competitive landscape
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm design
- Expertise in quantum error correction protocols and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in superconducting or photonic qubit systems
- Demonstrated success in publishing quantum computing research
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
