Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications targeting 2026 deployment
- Lead quantum algorithm development for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning use cases
- Collaborate with hardware teams to bridge quantum software-hardware interfaces
- Develop quantum error mitigation strategies for practical commercial viability
- Create quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography standards
- Mentor cross-functional teams on quantum principles and implementation best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing research or commercial development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing peer-reviewed journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
