Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems optimized for enterprise applications
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing frameworks
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive technical innovation in quantum hardware-software co-design
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience considered)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and topological quantum computing
- Publication record in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
