Responsibilities
- Design quantum circuit architectures and error-correction frameworks for 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead integration of quantum processors with cloud platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define qubit connectivity and control systems
- Establish quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptography applications
- Present quantum roadmaps to C-suite executives and research partners
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color, LDPC)
- Proven experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum conferences
- Deep understanding of superconducting, trapped-ion, or photonic qubit technologies
- Experience with quantum machine learning algorithms
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
