Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Lead R&D initiatives in topological qubit engineering and cryogenic control systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum gate operations at 10mK temperatures
- Translate quantum algorithms into deployable solutions for cryptography and material science
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum programming paradigms (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Drive patent development for novel quantum architectures with 20+ qubit coherence
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum error correction or topological computing
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compiler design
- Proficiency in quantum machine learning frameworks (PennyLane, TensorFlow Quantum)
- Experience with superconducting qubit platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti) or ion trap systems
- Certification in quantum security protocols (NIST IR 8100)
- Proven track record leading quantum computing projects with $10M+ budgets
