Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures with 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization problems unsolvable by classical computers
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and software engineers
- Implement quantum-safe encryption protocols for 2026 digital infrastructure
- Drive research in quantum machine learning applications
- Secure patents for novel quantum computing methodologies
- Advise C-suite executives on quantum technology roadmaps
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm design or quantum hardware architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum computing systems
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy principles
