Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for industrial-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms solving optimization problems at scale
- Lead quantum error correction protocol implementation in superconducting systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence optimization strategies
- Create quantum software development kits (SDKs) for enterprise deployment
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and investors
- Drive quantum security protocols post-quantum cryptography standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing quantum algorithms on real quantum hardware
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and compiler design
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Experience leading quantum computing projects with budgets >$1M
- Certification in quantum machine learning from recognized institutions
