Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in finance, logistics, and AI
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems with 100+ qubit coherence
- Lead R&D initiatives for quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Develop quantum software interfaces for enterprise integration
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor performance
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-generation encryption
- Present breakthrough findings at international quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum circuit optimization and noise mitigation
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket)
- Track record of delivering complex technical projects in cross-functional teams
