Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures using superconducting qubits and topological systems
- Develop quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Collaborate with academia and industry partners to advance quantum hardware capabilities
- Implement error correction protocols and quantum networking solutions
- Research and integrate emerging quantum technologies (e.g., photonic computing, quantum sensing)
- Create technical documentation and patent novel quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, quantum algorithms, and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation frameworks
- Strong background in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Published research in quantum computing or related quantum technologies
- Experience leading complex technical projects with cross-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical quantum concepts into practical implementations
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles at graduate level
