Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance qubit coherence beyond 2026 benchmarks
- Create hybrid quantum-classical frameworks for machine learning and optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum solutions into legacy systems
- Research and prototype novel quantum algorithms with 1000+ qubit scalability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processor interfaces
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or advanced algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, ion trap, photonic)
- Experience with cloud quantum services (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum, Google Quantum AI)
- Strong background in software architecture and high-performance computing
