Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum system performance and stability
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive modeling and optimization
- Conduct research on quantum-resistant cryptography for future security standards
- Present architectural solutions to C-level executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in classical high-performance computing environments
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
