Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to ensure algorithm compatibility with near-term quantum devices
- Develop quantum error correction protocols and fault-tolerant computing frameworks
- Research and evaluate emerging quantum computing paradigms and their practical applications
- Create quantum simulation tools for validating algorithm performance and scalability
- Lead cross-functional teams integrating quantum solutions into real-world industry applications
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at international conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum information theory, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Experience with machine learning, optimization algorithms, and complex problem-solving
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware constraints and error mitigation techniques
- Proven track record of publishing research in quantum computing or related fields
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across scientific disciplines
