Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Develop error-corrected quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale applications
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford researchers on quantum supremacy projects
- Lead 5-7 person research teams on high-impact R&D initiatives
- Publish findings in Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Secure $1M+ in government/industry research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and high-performance computing
- Experience with AWS Braket or IBM Quantum services
- Track record of securing research funding from NSF or DARPA
