Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical ML models for enterprise-scale applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum advantage algorithms on proprietary hardware
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop patentable quantum-AI frameworks
- Translate complex quantum computing concepts into deployable solutions
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals/conferences (Nature, Science, NeurIPS)
- Mentor junior researchers while driving innovation in quantum neural networks
- Secure external funding through NSF, DARPA, and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in quantum machine learning
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE) and error mitigation techniques
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket) and HPC systems
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to abstract complex quantum phenomena
