Responsibilities
- Architect and execute quantum AI research initiatives aligned with 2026 technological milestones
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists and machine learning specialists
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for exponential acceleration of AI training processes
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private research funding through compelling proposals
- Publish 3+ peer-reviewed papers in Nature/Science annually
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum machine learning methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-AI hybrid systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or AI with 8+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of developing commercial quantum machine learning frameworks
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (QIP, NeurIPS, etc.)
- Strong background in Python/C++ with quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience securing DoE/NSF grants for quantum research
- Demonstrated leadership in managing $3M+ research budgets
