Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in developing quantum-enhanced AI algorithms for real-world applications
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for large-scale machine learning models
- Establish research roadmap aligned with 2026 technological convergence milestones
- Secure and manage $10M+ in federal and private R&D funding
- Author white papers and patents on quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
- Collaborate with MIT, Stanford, and CERN on cutting-edge quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in quantum circuit design, error correction, and NISQ-era hardware limitations
- Proficiency in Python, Qiskit, TensorFlow Quantum, and cloud-based quantum platforms
- Track record of securing government grants or venture funding for R&D projects
- Deep understanding of AI ethics and responsible development frameworks
- Experience leading global research teams across 3+ time zones
