Responsibilities
- Architect 2026+ technology roadmaps for quantum AI, synthetic biology, and climate resilience systems
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives identifying disruptive trends across 12 emerging tech domains
- Design and validate futuristic scenarios through agent-based modeling and Monte Carlo simulations
- Drive strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA JPL, and EU Horizon Europe
- Present foresight findings to C-suite and board members with 95% adoption rate
- Mentor a team of 5 futurists while publishing 2 white papers annually
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Quantitative Social Sciences with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (e.g., correctly forecasted AI adoption rates 2018-2023)
- Expertise in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Cross-Impact Matrix)
- Proficiency in Python for trend analysis and scenario modeling
- Published work in Technological Forecasting and Social Change or equivalent
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation grants from NSF or DARPA
- Security clearance (Top Secret) preferred
