Responsibilities
- Strategic Architecting: Design and implement the high-level technical architecture for large-scale AI systems, ensuring scalability and performance for our 2026 product lines.
- Model Development: Lead the research and fine-tuning of foundational models, specifically focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems.
- Team Leadership: Mentor senior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Infrastructure Optimization: Oversee the deployment of AI models on cloud-native platforms, optimizing for latency, cost-efficiency, and security compliance (SOC2/GDPR).
- R&D Leadership: Identify emerging trends in Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and evaluate their potential integration into our core business solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for executive leadership and product management teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role within the AI/ML domain.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Apache Spark).
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Deep Learning architectures, and Reinforcement Learning.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Certifications: AWS Certified Machine Learning β Specialty or equivalent is a plus.
