Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone and email, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, printers, and network devices.
- Manage IT helpdesk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation.
- Participate in regular system backups and perform routine hardware audits.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement new software deployments and security patches.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets and support requests in the ticketing system.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, and VPNs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a logical approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric attitude.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
