Responsibilities
- Tier 1/2 Help Desk Support: Provide technical assistance to employees via phone, email, and in-person regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ticket Management: Log, track, and resolve IT service requests using our ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow) in a timely manner.
- System Configuration: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Hardware Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair hardware failures, perform hardware upgrades, and manage inventory of IT assets.
- Software Deployment: Deploy and update applications, manage patches, and ensure software licensing compliance.
- Network Support: Assist with basic network connectivity issues and VPN troubleshooting.
- User Education: Conduct IT training sessions to educate staff on new technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent military experience.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in IT support, technical support, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic understanding of Windows operating systems.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot technical problems and think critically to find solutions.
- Soft Skills: A customer-first attitude, high attention to detail, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Availability: Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, AZ, with a hybrid work model.
