Responsibilities
- Assist with the onboarding and orientation of new employees to ensure a smooth transition.
- Manage and maintain accurate employee records and personnel files in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Support the payroll processing team by collecting and verifying timecards and documentation.
- Facilitate employee relations by answering inquiries and resolving minor conflicts.
- Assist in administering benefits programs, including open enrollment and health plan support.
- Prepare and distribute HR-related documents, such as policies, handbooks, and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify training and development needs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is a plus.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an administrative or customer service role is preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and HRIS software.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Interpersonal: Ability to maintain confidentiality and build rapport with a diverse workforce.
