Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing 2026-era technology prototypes
- Design scalable innovation frameworks for emerging tech adoption
- Collaborate with C-suite to align R&D with market disruption strategies
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants and partnerships
- Present breakthrough concepts at global tech summits
- Mentor junior innovators in future-focused methodologies
- Oversee patent portfolios and IP protection strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Expertise in at least two of: AI governance, quantum computing, or sustainable tech
- Strong network with academic and industry innovation ecosystems
- Experience securing federal innovation grants
- Prior experience scaling tech from prototype to market
- Certification in Future Technology Impact Assessment (FTIA)
