Responsibilities
- Onboarding & Orientation: Assist in the orientation process for new hires, including preparing employee packets, setting up workstations, and conducting welcome meetings.
- Recruitment Support: Help screen resumes, schedule interviews, and coordinate communication with candidates for open positions in Wichita.
- Employee Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and electronic HR databases in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with questions regarding health insurance, payroll, and company benefits programs.
- HR Administration: Handle incoming inquiries via phone and email regarding HR policies, leave requests, and general HR inquiries.
- Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing company events, employee appreciation activities, and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: No prior HR experience required; however, internship experience or customer service roles are highly preferred.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday) is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Integrity: High level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
