Responsibilities
- Employee Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, including scheduling orientation sessions, preparing welcome packets, and setting up IT accounts.
- Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files in both digital HRIS systems and physical archives, ensuring strict confidentiality.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in posting job openings on various platforms, screening incoming resumes, and coordinating interview schedules with hiring managers.
- Payroll Assistance: Support the payroll team by collecting timekeeping data and resolving discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate compensation.
- Benefits Administration: Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits questions, open enrollment periods, and policy updates.
- HR Policy Compliance: Monitor workplace activities to ensure adherence to company policies and federal/state labor laws.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule and prepare agendas for HR committee meetings and departmental training sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
- Organization: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HR software platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Workday).
