What You'll Do
You will be the face of our HR department, assisting with daily operations and ensuring a positive experience for our employees. This role is perfect for recent graduates or career switchers eager to learn the ins and outs of modern HR practices.
Responsibilities
- Employee Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed and orientation materials are distributed efficiently.
- Recruitment Support: Assist in sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and screening resumes to support our talent acquisition team.
- Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, maintaining a positive workplace culture and resolving minor issues promptly.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Event Coordination: Plan and organize company events, wellness activities, and training sessions to foster team cohesion.
- Payroll Support: Assist the payroll department with data verification and reporting as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; High school diploma or GED with relevant experience is also considered.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software is a plus.
- Integrity: High level of confidentiality and ethical judgment.
- Passion: A genuine interest in Human Resources and organizational development.
