Responsibilities
- Employee Relations & Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and general HR matters.
- Onboarding & Offboarding: Manage the full lifecycle of new hires, including orientation, paperwork, and training coordination, as well as manage exit processes.
- Benefits Administration: Assist employees with enrollment, changes, and questions regarding health, retirement, and wellness programs.
- HRIS Management: Maintain and update the HR Information System (HRIS) with accurate employee data, attendance records, and personnel files.
- Recruitment Assistance: Support the talent acquisition team by posting job descriptions, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure the company adheres to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations in Arizona.
- Payroll Coordination: Assist in the preparation and verification of payroll data to ensure timely and accurate compensation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience in an HR Coordinator or HR Generalist role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations within the state of Arizona.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of staff.
- Organization: Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Certification: SHRM-CP or PHR/SPHR certification is a plus but not required.
