Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, and benefits administration for all staff members.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities, including company events, wellness programs, and recognition initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and HR resources.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support the HR Manager in performance reviews, policy updates, and internal communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus but not required.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR coordination or administrative role.
- Proficiency in HRIS software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in California is highly desirable.
