Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring strict compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, health insurance inquiries, and leave of absence requests.
- Coordinate HR-related events, training sessions, and company meetings to foster employee engagement.
- Process employment verifications, background checks, and new hire documentation with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, providing exceptional service to staff and management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR coordination or administrative support role.
- Proficiency with HRIS software (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, or similar platforms).
- Strong working knowledge of California labor laws and employment practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of discretion.
