Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including document preparation and system setup
- Maintain accurate HRIS records and generate compliance reports for HR leadership
- Support talent acquisition by coordinating interviews, scheduling, and candidate communication
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment changes and wellness initiatives
- Conduct new hire orientations and training sessions to ensure smooth integration
- Handle employee relations inquiries and resolve escalated issues with empathy and discretion
- Ensure adherence to federal/state labor laws and company policies
- Collaborate with payroll department on time-sensitive personnel actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of HR coordination or generalist experience required
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, BambooHR) and MS Office Suite
- PHR/SPHR certification preferred or commitment to obtain within 6 months
- Strong knowledge of federal and NM state labor regulations (FLSA, FMLA, etc.)
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience handling sensitive employee information with confidentiality
