Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination
- Onboard new hires by preparing employment documents and conducting orientation sessions
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and ensure compliance with labor regulations
- Support employee relations initiatives by addressing routine inquiries and resolving issues
- Coordinate HR administrative tasks including benefits enrollment, leave management, and performance tracking
- Assist in organizing training programs and professional development opportunities
- Contribute to HR projects focused on process improvement and employee engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-2 years of HR internship or administrative experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software (e.g., Workday, ADP)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer service mindset
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Knowledge of federal and state employment regulations (EEO, FMLA, FLSA)
- Proactive problem-solving approach and eagerness to learn HR best practices
