Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment processes including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination
- Support new hire onboarding by preparing documentation and conducting orientation sessions
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems and ensure data compliance
- Administer benefits enrollment and serve as primary contact for employee inquiries
- Assist in organizing company culture initiatives and employee engagement activities
- Support HR compliance documentation and policy updates
- Collaborate with department managers on workforce planning needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 0-2 years of HR internship or administrative experience
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, BambooHR)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Basic knowledge of federal and state labor regulations
- Proactive problem-solving approach and team collaboration mindset
- Valid Louisiana driver's license for occasional offsite meetings
