Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated systems, AI governance frameworks)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct scenario planning for technological disruption and regulatory shifts
- Present strategic insights to investors and board members with compelling data narratives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption ROI and innovation velocity
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in futurist or foresight roles
- Deep expertise in emerging tech ecosystems (quantum, AI, Web3, neuromorphic computing)
- Proven track record of scaling innovation from concept to market deployment
- Advanced degree in Technology, Futures Studies, or Business (PhD preferred)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex technology interactions
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Innovation Management
