Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ trends across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainability
- Develop and maintain a 10-year strategic foresight framework with quantifiable milestones
- Produce executive briefings and scenario-planning models for board-level decision-making
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Represent NextGen at global forums (Davos, Web Summit, etc.) as a thought leader
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts and junior strategists
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of academic, industry, and government futurist networks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent strategic discipline
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite advisory roles
- Published thought leadership on long-term technology/societal trends
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi techniques, and trend impact analysis
- Proven track record of translating futuristic insights into billion-dollar initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and global forums
- Experience with AI-driven forecasting tools and data visualization platforms
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ years of future-strategy implementation success
