Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and climate tech domains
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for 2026 market landscapes
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions
- Lead cross-functional workshops on exponential change adaptation
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging disruption vectors
- Build quantitative models for technology adoption forecasting
- Advantage: Experience with futures research methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research on technology adoption curves or systemic change
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, Trend Hunter)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell, Schwartz)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-focused projects
- Expertise in at least one emerging tech domain (AI/ML, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Advantage: PhD or certification from World Future Society
