Our Austin-based team operates at the intersection of quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable infrastructure – where tomorrow's breakthroughs are happening today.
Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (AI, climate tech, space commercialization) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026+ market landscapes
- Design executive workshops on exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-proof business models
- Author forward-looking whitepapers for industry thought leadership
- Advolve clients on regulatory and ethical implications of emerging tech
- Build predictive models for technology adoption curves and market tipping points
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting or corporate innovation with tech focus
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or scenario planning projects
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum AI, neurotech, or climate resilience
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, STEEP analysis)
- Experience advising C-suite on exponential technology implications
- Exceptional storytelling ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Track record of influencing product roadmaps or policy decisions
