Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Partner with R&D to integrate quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate tech
- Author foresight reports for executive board and investor briefings
- Identify and mitigate disruptive threats/opportunities across global markets
- Build strategic alliances with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Mentor innovation teams in future-proof methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or emerging tech leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Expertise in AI ethics, exponential technologies, and sustainable innovation
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Certification in Foresight Methodology (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Experience scaling innovation in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Portfolio of published foresight work or patented innovations
