Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, AR/VR convergence, etc.) for strategic adoption
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen tech solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry innovators
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Drive innovation through competitive analysis and market gap identification
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing architectures and systems
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption and commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, spatial computing, or biotech integration
- Strong background in strategic planning and stakeholder management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and investors
