Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligning with company vision and market trends
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in AI, quantum computing, sustainable tech, and emerging domains
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Partner with product and engineering teams to prioritize R&D investments and innovation pipelines
- Represent company at global tech forums and build strategic partnerships with research institutions
- Create executive-level briefings on technology adoption risks and opportunities
- Mentor innovation teams in emerging technology methodologies and future-proofing principles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech advisory roles
- Proven track record in developing multi-year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two future-critical domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
