Responsibilities
- Architect and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution and industry disruption
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech interfaces) for strategic integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype systems for next-gen applications
- Present technology strategy to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for technological shifts
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech innovation
- Proven track record in developing and implementing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Portfolio of technology strategy implementations or research publications
