Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligned with market evolution
- Identify emerging tech trends (quantum, AR/VR, bioinformatics) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling futuristic solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with research labs and innovation hubs
- Present technology roadmaps to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Drive R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 7-10 year horizons
- Establish governance frameworks for ethical AI and autonomous systems
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neuromorphic, etc.)
- Track record of securing $10M+ budgets for experimental technologies
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Experience leading global teams across multiple innovation centers
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management
