Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps for quantum AI, biotech convergence, and climate tech
- Lead cross-functional teams from concept to MVP for emerging technology pilots
- Identify and evaluate breakthrough technologies through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Develop regulatory frameworks for responsible AI deployment and ethical tech governance
- Secure $50M+ in strategic partnerships with governments and Fortune 500 enterprises
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Mentor PhD researchers and innovation accelerator startups
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling emerging technologies from lab to market (3+ exits)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, synthetic biology, or carbon capture tech
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and corporate venture funding
- Expert knowledge of global tech policy landscapes (GDPR, AI Act, etc.)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
