Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology forecasting and scenario planning for 2026+ market landscapes
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for commercial viability
- Develop comprehensive technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Conduct competitive analysis and technology ecosystem mapping
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage technology innovation budgets and vendor partnerships
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of launching tech-forward products/services in Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in at least 3 emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with technology focus
- Certification in technology foresight (e.g., FTI, Foresight Practitioner) preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Strong presentation skills with executive communication experience
