Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and emerging paradigms like quantum computing and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping disruptive solutions for sectors including healthcare, sustainability, and space exploration
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through grant proposals and venture capital partnerships
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven impact on multi-billion dollar product launches
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies from Tier-1 institution
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE) on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum algorithms, bio-integrated systems, or decentralized networks
- Track record of scaling technical teams from 10 to 100+ members
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Portfolio of patented innovations or commercially deployed future-tech solutions
