Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with emerging market trends and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for quantum-resistant cryptography and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 3-7 year adoption cycles
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation strategy with business objectives
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous system governance
- Present strategic briefings to investors and industry consortia
- Mentor junior researchers in future-focused technology domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech, or decentralized systems
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Futures Planning
- Experience presenting to executive boards and investor forums
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
