Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology strategy aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional innovation labs to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, AR/VR, biotech) for competitive advantage
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused decision making
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proof technology adoption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record scaling emerging technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two future tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic planning with ability to articulate complex futures
- Experience managing innovation budgets >$5M
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight
- Certification in technology strategy or innovation management (e.g., CTO Academy)
