Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 10-year technology strategy aligned with UN SDGs and national tech initiatives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate modeling)
- Forge strategic partnerships with DARPA, MIT Media Lab, and global tech consortiums
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite and congressional technology committees
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Drive patent portfolio development targeting 2026-2030 breakthrough technologies
- Mentor emerging talent through our Future Leaders Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Systems Engineering
- 15+ years experience in R&D leadership with 5+ in strategic planning
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum machine learning, bio-integrated systems, or decentralized AI
- Clearance-level security background (or ability to obtain)
- Track record of scaling innovations from lab to market impact
- Fluency in Mandarin, German, or Japanese for global collaboration
