Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging tech solutions (quantum computing, AGI, neural interfaces)
- Analyze global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-ready technologies into 3-5 year product roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for pilot programs and R&D initiatives
- Establish partnerships with leading research institutions and tech pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching at least two industry-defining tech products
- Expertise in forecasting technology adoption curves and market disruption patterns
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, AGI development, and biotech convergence
- Experience managing cross-functional teams across engineering, R&D, and product domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Strategy (e.g., from Singularity University)
